1983. The beginning of the Journey
Way back in 1983, our family had an encounter that would forever change the course of our history: the discovery of a beehive in the woods, the work of our patriarch Romano Rossi. That moment of wonder and discovery ignited in us a deep passion for beekeeping, leading us to embark on an extraordinary journey into the world of bees.
1996. Organic Certification
Over the years, we have transformed our passion into a mission: producing pure and organic honey, respecting the environment and the nature that surrounds us as much as possible. In 1996, we obtained organic certification, becoming one of the pioneers of organic beekeeping in Italy. For us, being organic is not a passing fad, but a choice rooted in respect for the earth and for the health of consumers.
2022. The origin of Miele Bio Rossi
As time passed, we continued to innovate and grow, always maintaining our philosophy of life and work. In 2022, our son Elia Rossi embarked on a new chapter in our history by opening his own VAT number, thanks to the support of the PSR Young Entrepreneurs funds of the Tuscany Region. With him, we have carried on the family tradition, combining the experience accumulated in over 28 years of organic certification with an innovative and future-oriented approach.
2024. Local Honey
Today, as then, we are committed to caring for our bees using exclusively natural and sustainable products, thus guaranteeing the highest quality honey, which reflects the unique and inimitable characteristics of our territory. We are proud of our history, but we always look ahead, ready to face the challenges of tomorrow with the same passion and dedication that have guided us from the beginning.

Miele Bio Rossi’s mission is to create high quality products through close collaboration with nature and the surrounding environment. Respect for bees is at the center of our company philosophy: they are raised and cared for with natural products, in a natural environment that promotes their well-being.
For over 40 years, we have adopted the technique of bee nomadism, identifying green oases where our bees can thrive with commitment and dedication. We firmly believe in respecting the environment in which we operate and constantly work to raise awareness among people of all ages about the protection and observation of nature.
Since 1983, we have been fighting to preserve the environment and promote sustainable development. We believe in the importance of innovation to ensure that even small agricultural businesses, like ours, can continue to protect and enhance the environment. With our commitment and passion, we want to contribute to a future in which it is possible to benefit from the wonderful fruits of nature without compromising their beauty and integrity.
Quality Products that are born in sharing with Nature
Our production includes a wide range of honeys, obtained through the practice of beekeeping nomadism. Our hives are moved according to the different blooms that follow one another from spring to summer in Tuscany, in uncontaminated environments and in close contact with the surrounding nature. This approach is the result of meticulous research and exploration of the territory carried out by our family for over 40 years.
The honey we produce represents a perfect balance of symbiosis with the natural environment. Our bees are cared for and treated without the use of chemicals, while the surrounding environment benefits from their presence through pollination, the promotion of plant development and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Due to annual climate variations, we cannot guarantee a constant production of honey, but we can always guarantee a unique and high quality product, thanks to our environmental philosophy focused on respect for nature
